Lubin ----- Wroclaw

Fountain display
After saying our goodbyes to Jan in Lubin, we hit the road in search of our next adventure in Wroclaw. As usual we keep off the major roads where possible. This means that we add approximately 20-30% distance to the overall trip ie 1700km Berlin to Odessa by main roads becomes 2000km+ by our circuitous routes.
In Wroclaw, we meet our next hosts, Ilona, Ewa and the excitable Locka (dog). Once again, we get to eat some Polish food before we are shown around some sights of Wroclaw.
Andrew, Ilona, Ewa and moi in their wonderful place
At 10pm each night there is a synchronised fountain dispay to music: although short, this is still impressive. We decide to stay an extra night with our wonderful hosts. We take it easy the next day, cycling about the city which is full of churches... not really our thing, but the architecture is interesting and being able to use your own bike in a new city is a real positive aspect of bike trekking. Make veggie burritos and pancakes with chocolate for dinner and relax the whole evening. G
